Attracting, compelling, colliding, their chemistry- to say the least- was explosive. The stolen touches, the secret glances, the whispered innuendos. Oh sugar, big problem for me.
Emily can be a little hard to take after awhile. Ok, I’m going to start off with a warning.
I will never understand why people love a heroine who doesn’t fight for herself or reacts before thinking. Books by Gail McHugh. I wish there was some way this review could show you exactly how much I loved it. In the end, I gave up. The story When Emily’s Mum dies of cancer and she’s just finished college she decides to move to ‘Big’ New York to be closer to her boyfriend Dillon and embark on a new journey and a fresh start.
NYC cabs are not cheap enough for most waitresses to take them instead of the subway. When things comes crashing down in Emily’s world, Gavin is there to pick her up.
Honestly, why the heck he was pining for Emily was confounding to Well the best thing I can honestly say about this one is, thank goodness I’m done with it. Why does the author think that we want to read about this girl? View all 93 comments.

And then I got towards the end you know when there is enough left where you are crying one minute and you think ahhhhh I’m going to be okay. While working part-time at an Italian restaurant, she met the rich and dangerously hot guy Gavin Blake. Emily’s friend’s Olivia and Fallon are fab. For more help see the Common Knowledge help page. Did you cover yourself up? The story goes like this. Why does he work so late? Lists with This Book.
Your lips were made to kiss mine, your mchuvh were made to wake up to me looking at you in my bed every morning and your fucking tongue was made to roll my name off of it. Is this a cliff hanger book?
I felt myself never wanting it to end.
This is another one of these horrible books that has a idiot, insecure, poor, and I could go on, woman, with lengthily repetition of the same teary, feeling-soaked lines over and over. Her actions don’t match her age.
That kiss had been devastating, painful, euphoric, and everything else she had imagined it would be-all wrapped into one. For now he has decided to just be her friend.
This wonderful man captured my heart and my soul and even totally aside from this: She moves in with her best friend and college room mate, Olivia and gets a job waitressing for the summer while she applies for teaching jobs. He tries to get closer to her but he finally realises with horror that she is THE Emily that Dillon has been talking about for several months.
Sometimes the drama seems unnecessary if the heroine wasn’t such an idiot. Dillon walked into the bathroom, turned on the shower, and got in. Los secundarios son algo bueno del libro, tanto Fallon, Olivia y Trevor me gustaron, pero nunca como para pasar un buen rato gy sus apariciones.
Emily is drawn to Gavin and Gavin to her like a moth to a flame.
