A lot of cliches from paranormal romances are in the book, including the one that made me cringe. In fact, it was almost like a classic case of in I wanted to love this book. Nov 20, Tarnparit rated it liked it.

This started off so well, I loved the vibe and I adored the banter but it quickly turned downhill. Probably ideal for people who like easy, breezy paranormal books with a splash of light romance. More descriptions and world-building, I wanted to read about the things Rose mentioned instead of just having a sentence telling me it had happened. I wanted to love this book. The characters are flat, annoying and highly unlikeable. I didn’t love this book, but I would recommend it.

I really expected something super exciting after gabiella Gabriella Lepores other book but I didn’t expect another tale of witches.
Got it because one of my fave booktubers is the cover model. The plot of the novel starts off where our female protagonist Rose sets out to visit her family in Millwood, like she does every summer since her parents are always travelling.

Without giving too much away, I did enjoy the chapters from Oscar’s point of view and the way he communicated with Caicus who I wouldn’t mind reading a book about The ending had me a bit put out really, I’m not sure if there will be another book, but I quite liked this book! It was funny, cute and it seemed so real!
Caicus appears very sadistic, dark, cold hearted and cruel for the most part of the book.
It jumped straight in with action right from the prologue and is eerie and mysterious throughout. I loved gow book although sometimes seemed a little doubtful from time to time this was instantly over ridden by my curiosity about the characters and the storyl I actually received this book a while back on my visit to Cardiff from the authors father!!

Cannot wait to pick up another of Gabriella’s novel’s she is fast becoming one of my ‘go to’ authors! But after a series of dark and disturbing dreams, and the surprise arrival of charming brothers Oscar and Caicus Valero, her world is thrown upside-down. I’m so tired of these kind of statements.

What are the brothers hiding? I was blown away though by her fresh take on them and the quick turn from good witches in her last book, to mainly bad witches in this one.
I mean if Liathius can wipe out a line of witches it’s safe to assumed that he can chase a girl through the forest at night. It almost felt like I was reading a short story rather than a full novel. She is very withdrawn though and shows very shy qualities. Some cute boys i’m not shallow. There’s no world building, no discriptions whatsoever. I really liked this book and even if I found some scene a bit cringe worthy the characters and the plot were really interesting and the characters development in this book were very well done the writing was nice and I almost read it in one sitting. I really enjoyed her new take on witches and the plot was a great combination of intense moments, an evil prophecy, and a continuous threat of a supernatural being that looms over the character.
I’m truly going to miss Rose, the Valero brothers and the other cast of characters we meet Rose and Oscar was perfect with each other in every way.
